Description:
Cortec® CorShield@ VpCI®-369 is an oil-based ready to spray temporary coating that provides multimetal corrosion prevention. This anti-rust spray leaves a wet, removable film on metal surfaces for applications on open atmosphere for up to 2 years. It is non-drying, self-healing and provides excellent lubricity. Used for long term outdoor protection in harsh conditions with the option for removal at the end of the preservation period.

Packaging:
Available in 11 oz (312 g) aerosol cans. Sold in a box containing 6 cans. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF. Also available in liquid version as Cortec® CorShield® VpCI®-369.

How to Use:
Cortec® CorShield® VpCI®-369 comes ready to use. Shake well before use. Can temperature should be at least 60ºF (15ºC). Spray to a film thickness of 4 mils/100 microns. Use multiple coats for severe applications, 4 mils provides about 2 years of outdoor protection. CorShield® VpCI®-369 can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.

Typical Applications:
It can be used for rust prevention on three main stages of a metal component's life-cycle: layup, transit and storage. Common applications include: wire rope, gear protectant and lubricant, long term equipment lay-up, cylinders, working or moving parts.
